This isn't the first time that Sugar been shown crying, but I seriously appreciate the fact you include snot dripping out of her nose (and oh wow I just noticed the tears on her shirt too). Crying is messy as fuck, and most artists don't seem to go much further than watery eyes.

the fourth panel is the cigarette ash that fell in the first panel, sizzling out on her foot, from lola's perspective. the burning sensation brought her back to reality and reminded her of her surroundings.
in the next 2 panels, lola's looking out the car window to see if sugar having a very loud mental breakdown has attracted anyone's attention.
this is to pull the reader out of sugar's moment to emulate the experience of a comedown from an emotional outburst, to develop that lola is more concerned about her safety from the outside world than sugar, and to maintain her character as someone who is always monitoring her surroundings.
